Best graphics editor for everyday use

Forget about the Photoshop, there are many programs out there built for our everyday use, without clutter and with ease of use.

How often do you use Photoshop? I am a self-called web developer and I use Photoshop once or twice a month. The rest of the time I use Fireworks.

Even though Adobe discontinued its development in 2013, Fireworks is irreplaceable tool in my everyday life. Intuitive UI (user interface), easy to understand and use, awesome features, Fireworks is simply the best tool for absolutely anything related to editing/making graphics. It can easily replace 3 of today’s top ADOBE products: Photoshop, Illustrator and Effects. With its add-ons/plugins, even today, Fireworks is the ultimate graphics software for anyone.
The only problem is that you can’t get it easy. The best way to get it is to search for the software on any torrent website, try it out, and buy license later on.

My second choice is IrfanView. This was actually the first editor that I installed next to “Paint” on my Windows XP machine in 2002. It’s FREE and there are tons of plugins/add-ons to charge it up with. It is extremely powerful once you get familiar with it, you wont look for anything else. The reason why I am using Fireworks is because I got used to it.

You can download IrfanView from its official website here.

For any additional stuff, like picture effects and optimization, I recommend online tools:
(no registration required)

TinyPNG – for smaller file-size
Rollip or FunPhotoBox – for excellent photo effects
